Bhopal Disaster - Too less for a long run





The culprit is :

So finally GOM has cleared name of Late . Mr Rajiv Gandhi from the bhopal disaster case.
He should be. Basically he was Mr clean in the congress party after several major setbacks that congress had seen.
Since GoM and court could not decide who the culprit is, so I have tried to put things per my understanding.


Innocent Rajiv, villain Arjun :

It is quite possible the Rajiv Gandhi was not aware of the incident took place and Arjun Singh was CM of M.P. At least Arjun Singh is goood player at that . We have seen the evidence recently when Arjun Singh took the whole congress by surprise for his reservation policy and whole congress was getting hard time to explain that it was a party decision and ironically owing to same party decision he was not party to general election 2009.


Congress : The Pious

Bharat ratna Congress-- how can a political party with little short half of the total number of the bharat ranta awardee can commit crimes.
At least congress has monopoly over Bharat Ratna. Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. Sanjay missed the list due to his hardheadedness like his father Feroz. Ironically, his father was also left out of core congress working because he did not bow to Nehru and Indira,be it 1955 revelation involving Ramkrishna Dalmia or the 1957 financial irregularities involving LIC India, which gave a major setback to clean shaven image Jawaharlal Nehru,



Congress : The Fluffy

Congress guards its secrets and mysteries beautifully and it knows where and how to dump the unhygienic slur.
Even if Rajiv Gandi was aware of the incident, he deserves the let off.At least we know congress has ignored the great deeds of Natwar Singh, the external affairs minister, Sivraj Patil, the home minister. Besides congress has a very good history of removing the thrones from its empire.
Recall the V P Sing incident, who as Finance minister in congress government, dared to raid the offices of high profile industrialist and personalities such as Amitabh Bacchan and Dhirubhai Ambani. Then congress could not dare to remove him but moved him to defense ministry only for its own disaster. As soon as he discovered the bofors deal, he was dismissed from the office.

Atithi Devo Bhav :

The list of national guests is quite big but two are prominent where congress followed the indian tradition of "Atithi Devo Bhav" .
Mr Ottavio Quattrocchi is a classic example who is creation of the maxim. The Rajiv-Sonia honeymoon period was a honeymoon time for Quattrochi's business as well. He was granted almost every deal that he wanted (Obviously he was de facto Father in law of India and a "Atithi too").Quattrocchi had such extra-constitutional influence on PM's office that bureaucrats used to stand up whenever he visited Rajiv. This extra-constitutional right is nowadays enjoyed only by the "son in-law of the nation"-Mr Robert Vadra in form of airport security check exemption. He is the only by name entry in the security check exempt list of 31 entries, that includes, presidents of India, Armed forces chiefs of India, CJI and so on.

Mr Anderson escape is the result of same maxim -"Atithi Devo Bhav".Since he was guest, there was no question of detaining and punishing him. So he was exempted honorably following the Indian culture and tradition. The similar "guest of honor" tradition was displayed during Indian Airlines flight 814 hijack.


Congress : The visionary

Congress sees long term profit and not at short term losses. So a foe in short term can be a long term ally and congress does not ditch its allies. The classic examples are the half hearted effort for Anderson's extradition and unprepared CBI for Quottrocchi extradition.Additionally, since we are not digitizing the records, so files can be lost any time. And I am optimistic that once we have critical documents in digitized format, the critical files would be deleted by ignorant peons erroneously and viruses would find their way quite too frequently in too offices.But the positive side is that these actions make long term friends (like Priyanka and Massimo Quattrochi and Rahul are). This friendship would bring prosperity and business to India.

Moreover, since congress is working for "aam Aadmi" it needs to create them or at least retain a vote winning chunk of them as it is. So now we know what did congress do in last 60 years !!!.

The Indian Political Utopia

1. If all political parties are pro National Development then what this fight is for ? Broadly, If all of them want to make the nation developed by 2020 (or some time), then why don’t they sit together and chalk out a” National Development Strategy” rather than having a “Party’s or Coalition’s Common minimum program” that is agreed on to share the power at the end of the general election. After all, mediacroocks does have credence.
